starlight is an extension of Aao Mil Baithen, a project of SpaceShift Collective. It was a temporary community art space on Devon Avenue, open from September 14 - October 29, 2022. The starlight artist workshop exhibition was an exploration of the history and future of Black and South Asian solidarity. Six artists to collaborate din transforming the space in response to these themes.
The space was presented in partnership with the Race, Caste, and Colorism Project and supported by Northwestern University's Buffett Institute for Global Affairs.
